Chef Contest: The event

Vi ricordate il Premio Antichi Sapori delle Puglie? Ve ne avevo parlato qui. Lunedì 2 dicembre ho partecipato a questo meraviglioso evento presso l'istituto Majorana di Bari. Appena arrivata ho potuto conoscere l'organizzatore dell'evento Matteo Fumarola il quale mi ha spiegato in cosa consisteva il mio ruolo da giurata e come si sarebbe svolta la giornata. Dopo qualche minuto di attesa, finalmente sono entrata con altre blogger nella saletta preparata ad hoc per l'evento. Il simpaticissimo assessore Nicola De Matteo, il sindaco di Cisternino Donato Baccaro e la giornalista Alessandra Lofino erano presenti all'evento e sono stati premiati con un piccolo omaggio. Un caloroso saluto da parte della preside dell'istituto ha preceduto la performance del barman Luigi Guastamacchia ( Soleluna Cafè ) che ha realizzato un nuovo drink con martini rosa e vodka lemon. E' stato successivamente presentato Peppe Zullo, divenuto in giornata l'ambasciatore dell'associazione Antichi Sapori delle Puglie. Il cuoco pugliese ha poi premiato lo stilista Angelo Inglese famoso per aver realizzato la camicia del principe William per il suo Royal Wedding. Super contenta della sua presenza ho subito colto l'occasione per presentarmi. A fine premiazione è giunto anche il giornalista Tommy Tedone che ha preparato il servizio per il suo programma. A fine mattinata è iniziato l'assaggio dei piatti preparati dallo chef Salvatore Riontino ( Canneto Beach 2 ) : un primo di pasta fresca davvero squisito e un dolce di ricotta con marmellata d'arancia dal gusto ricercato. 

Do you remember the Premio Antichi Sapori of Puglia? I had talked about it here. Monday, December 2nd, I attended this wonderful event at the Institute Majorana of Bari. Just arrived, I met the event organizer, Matteo Fumarola who explained me what was my role as sworn, and how the day would unfold. After a few minutes of waiting, finally I went, with the other bloggers, in the room prepared especially for the event. The most likeable assessor Nicola De Matteo, the mayor of Cisternino Donato Baccaro and the journalist Alessandra Lofino were at the event and were rewarded with a small gift. A warm greeting by the dean of the institute preceded the performance of the barman Luigi Guastamacchia ( Soleluna Cafè ) , who created a new drink with vodka lemon and martini. Then Peppe Zullo was presented and became the ambassador of the association Antichi Sapori of Puglia. After the chef has awarded the famous designer Angelo Inglese, who created the shirt for Prince William on his Royal Wedding. Very happy about his presence I immediately took the opportunity to introduce myself. At the end of the ceremony also came Tommy Tedone, a  journalist, who prepared the service for his program. At the end of the morning began the tasting of the dishes prepared by the chef Salvatore Riontino ( Canneto Beach 2 ) : a first course of pasta, really delicious, and then a dessert composed by ricotta with orange marmalade with refined taste.
