SUPER LUCA

SI PARTEEEEE.....

Si torna a Lodi, per due settimane di terapia.

L’ultima trasferta era stata quella del 28 aprile: son trascorse soltanto
due settimane e questa volta Luca non farà il pendolare ma si fermerà
per due settimane, per fare un ciclo completo di fisioterapia e qualche
nuova applicazione di crosystem...ai piedi?, boh, verrà deciso insieme
alla dottoressa del centro, la russa Liudmila, che farà la consueta visita
iniziale lunedì mattina, per la verifica dello stato di salute generale di
Luca e la definizione del piano dei trattamenti, per tipologia e durata.

Oggi pomeriggio ho portato Luca a tagliarsi i capelli: qualche piccola
difficoltà per tenerlo fermo, come tutti i bambini della sua età, ma ne è
uscito con apparente soddisfazione e pronto per affrontare, senza
l'impiccio dei capelli lunghi e belli che aveva, le attività di fisioterapia
delle prossime due settimane; eccolo qui, beccato addirittura mentre
abbozza un sorriso....

....in realtà è diventato molto più sorridente negli ultimi mesi e sembra
talvolta anche assumere atteggiamenti furbi e scherzosi con noi,
aggiungendo alcune esclamazioni vocali che fanno meglio intendere
quello che ci vuole dire, sia quando è arrabbiato, stufo, annoiato, che
quando se la ride per qualcosa di buffo che accade o che si inventa lui
stesso, come buttare alcuni oggetti per terra, di quelli che ha davanti a
sè sul piano del seggiolone, o ancora semplicemente quando esprime
con sorrisi accompagnati da gridolini acutissimi, la sua felicità nel vedere
qualcuno di noi, specie il papà quando rientra dal lavoro...
Non ci credete?! è vero, ed è una cosa bellissima, soprattutto da parte
di un bimbo come Luca, che ai nastri di partenza si era presentato come
un bimbo che non sorrideva mai.

Quindi si va avanti, credendo in quello che stiamo facendo perchè stiamo
vedendone i risultati e pensando ogni giorno che arriva come ad un
nuovo giorno di speranza, quella speranza che si basa sul lavoro di Luca,
sull'impegno della sua famiglia e sull'aiuto di tutte le persone come te,
che stai leggendo in questo momento: ti ricordo che perchè si possa
continuare a fare quello che stiamo facendo, che abbiamo fondato
l'ONLUS "AMICI di SUPER LUCA", per aprirci a nuove possibilità di aiuto
attraverso le donazioni: aprendo un nuovo conto corrente al quale è
possibile far pervenire donazioni anche da fuori Italia e offrendo ai
donatori il vantaggio di poterle dedurre dalle tasse, proprio perchè il
conto è aperto a nome della ONLUS.

LET’S GO……

He returns to Lodi, for two weeks of therapy.

The last trip was on 28th of April: we are spent only two weeks and this
time Luca won’t do the commute but he will stop for two weeks to do a
full course of physiotherapy and some new application of CroSystem....
... feet? this will be decided together with the doctor of the center, the
Russian Liudmila, who will make the customary initial visit on Monday
morning, verifying for the overall health of Luca and the definition of the
plan of treatment, type and duration.

This afternoon I took Luca to cut his hair: some little difficulties to hold it,
like all children his age, but he came out with apparent satisfaction and
ready to deal, without the long and beautiful hair he had, the activities of
physiotherapy over the next two weeks, here he is (see the photo above),
caught even while he paints a smile ....

Actually....he has become much more smiling in recent months and
sometimes even seems to adopt attitudes and sly jokes with us, adding
a few vocal exclamations that they understand better what it means, and
when he's angry, bored, or if he laughs when something funny happens or
he invented himself as throwing some objects on the ground, than it had
before on the floor of the chair, or simply when expressed with smiles
accompanied by shrill cries, his happiness in seeing some of us, especially
when dad comes home from work! do not believe me?! It’s true, and it's
a beautiful thing, especially by a child as Luca, who at the start had
presented himself as a child who never smiled.

So you go ahead, believing in what we're doing because we are seeing the
results and thinking every day that comes as a new day of hope, that hope
which is based on the work of Luca, his family's commitment, the
assistance of all people like you, you're reading right now:
I remember that because you can keep doing what we're doing, we
founded the NPO "AMICI di SUPER LUCA", to open up new opportunities
