Toyota Motor Corporation charged it with a power supply for families on 4th and clarified a policy to release a plug in hybrid car (PHV) which could run as a battery car for the public from the end of 2011.
I go ahead and sell about 15,000 a year in U.S.A. and am planning to want to release it in Japan for the same period. It is expected that the price becomes 3,000,000 yen level.
Toyota judges PHV that the mileage is longer than a battery car to become the mainstream while a world car manufacturer competes for the development of the eco car in the next generation. I aim at the spread by the pricing that is lower than a battery car.
If PHV to spend charges high-performance lithium ion battery fully, Toyota runs about 20 kilos only with a motor and runs as the hybrid car which uses an engine together even if it can cut a battery.
I hold leadership by eco car development to a weapon in utility to exceed the mileage (longest 100 kilos level) of the current battery car.
The reason is because that I go ahead in U.S.A. and release it is anticipated if the regulation that imposes duty so that State of California assumes a constant ratio of the sale number eco car for a maker becomes severe.
