The Hottest Dance Team In The NFL

The P R O Convention is the premier professional dance convention and the instructors represent the very best in professional cheerleading and dance. This year's instructors included:

Sandy Charbonneau Armed Forces Entertainment

Tamara Jenkins FC Dallas (MLS)The organizers of P R O gave James and I complete access to the convention's events and in this article, I will provide our readers with a first hand look into the premier professional dance convention. We have a lot to cover so, let's begin with Saturday's report.

I strolled on down to the lobby area of the hotel to grab some juice and a croissant. It was 8:40 am. Registration was at 9:00 am and I wanted to get a bite to eat before beginning the day. As soon as the elevators doors opened, there they werea gaggle of Jets cheerleaders who were in line to get a few snacks of their own and they were soon joined by some Redskins cheerleaders. They were in full uniform and that must have been a pleasant surprise to the hotel guests lingering in the lobby.

Even though it was early in the morning, these girls were put together. Perfect hair. Perfect make up. And yes, they looked amazing in their uniforms. I was in cheerleader heaven.

Another pleasant surprise was seeing Amy from the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders as I was in line to buy my breakfast. As I mentioned in my article on the 2010 Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders auditions, Amy is an amazing dancer, one of the best I have ever seen in my over 30 years of photographing cheerleaders. We exchanged pleasantries and gave each other a hug before moseying up to the grand ballroom.

I met James in the entrance way to the grand ballroom. A photo area was set up with a backdrop and he was there to photograph the squads as they arrived for registration. Catie from All PRO3 was also there to interview the cheerleaders. She is a former Houston Texans cheerleader who serves as the one of the hosts of P R O.

This year, the red carpet area was like the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Little stars with team names were placed on the carpet. That was a big hit with the girls and made for a nice photo opportunityand I took advantage and photographed Ashley from the Washington Redskins.

I left James alone to do his official job for P R O and strolled on over to the registration cheap nfl jerseys area to start my coverage of the day's events. It was a little after 9:00 am and squads were beginning to roll in. At the registration table, the girls were given registration materials, a schedule of events and some raffle tickets for Sunday's sponsor's raffle event.

In fact, many of the squads NFL Jerseys Cheap at P R O were wearing the Line Up's designs. I was able to snap a few photos of those cheerleaders and will showcase them in another article to be published at a later time.

The next sponsor, Capezio, was featuring a line of custom made boots with the logos of the dance teams on them. There were boots in all shapes and colors, some typically cheerleader and some more appropriate for Lady Gaga. Give me a simple, white boot that doesn't detract away from the line of a cheerleader's legthat's what makes for a strong visual statement.

A new sponsor to P R O was Go Wild Wear. They feature a line of ready to wear designs for working out or auditions. They do have a company that produces custom designed team uniforms, you might know them as Angela King Designs.

One of the most popular sponsors was Peavey Hosiery. As I discovered, Peavey is the brand of pantyhose that the Hooters Girls wear and they have a line of footless tights that seem to be quite popular with cheerleaders and dancers. Peavey was giving out free pantyhose to all attendees and as you could imagine, the girls were all over the table. Free stuff is always cool.

Peavey offered discounted prices to P R O attendees and volume discounts to squads. Now I don't know how many pairs of pantyhose a cheerleader goes through in a season, but if the team doesn't provide them to the girls for free (and most don then the next best thing is a good discount.

Satin Stitches was the last official sponsor of P R O and they feature a line of dancer wear, from ready to wear attire to custom designed uniforms for high school, college, and professional dance teams.

All PRO3 also had a table with their clothing Russell Wilson Womens Jersey designs. It was also a huge hit, judging by the number of girls looking at the merchandise.

Professional cheerleading is big business. It's certainly big time entertainment, as we will soon find out because it was 10:00 am and it was time for the instructors to introduce themselves and get the girls warmed up for the day's first session, a group dance.

com 49ers cranking up their defense heading into stretch run

Amid all the relentless chatter the past few weeks about Colin Kaepernick and his sluggish offense momentarily resolved by a trip to Washington one thing remains abundantly clear about the 49ers.

They can play some serious Olympic Carey Price Canada Jersey defense.

This stretches beyond one emphatic, prime time smothering of Robert Griffin III. The 49ers have allowed more than 17 points once in their past five games. They've permitted more than 20 points once in their past eight games.

More? On Nov. 10 against Carolina, the 49ers held Cam Newton and Co. to season lows in yards (250) and first downs (15). On Nov. 17 www.shopcanadahockeyonline.com/olympic+chris+pronger+canada+jersey against New Orleans, they held Drew Brees and friends 12 points below their home scoring average in a 23 20 loss.

More? Monday night, the 49ers limited Washington to season lows in points (six) and yardage (190). Griffin's offense had averaged more than 453 yards in its previous Olympic Chris Kunitz Canada Jersey three games.

More? Ahmad Brooks (8.5 sacks) and Aldon Smith (6.5) could become the first 49ers tandem with at least 10 sacks each since 1998. San Francisco ranks sixth in the league in total defense and fourth in points allowed (16.7 per game).

So, while Kaepernick and his offensive colleagues endure scrutiny, the defense merely keeps the 49ers in playoff contention.

"The type of guys we have in the locker room, we want to be great on defense," safety Donte Whitner said. "We started off a little slow early in the season. We faced some great offenses Green Bay, Indianapolis when they were hot. But it's calmed down a little.

"We started getting turnovers. We got www.shopcanadahockeyonline.com/olympic+carey+price+canada+jersey Aldon back. Ahmad is playing really well. We're stopping the run being physical, tackling, getting off the field on third down. All the things we've always preached, we started to do them. We feel like this defense can carry this football team."

Whitner's reference to those early season struggles offers a telling reminder of the progress this defense has made. In their first three games, the 49ers relinquished 28 points to the Packers, 29 to the Seahawks and 27 to the Colts sparking valid whispers of concern if not full blown, Kaepernick like hysteria.

But the run defense has stiffened in recent weeks, anchored by Justin Smith and with help from Glenn Dorsey and Tony Jerod Eddie (subbing for the injured Ray McDonald). The 49ers also have showed some depth in the secondary, with Tramaine Brock capably replacing the injured Tarell Brown.

And the pass rush has shifted into another gear, led by Brooks and Aldon Smith.

"We're just clicking at the right time," Brooks said.

Rams quarterback Kellen www.shopcanadahockeyonline.com/olympic+chris+kunitz+canada+jersey Clemens noticed.

"They're great up top, they've got two of the best linebackers staring you in Olympic Chris Pronger Canada Jersey the face and then they've got a very good secondary," Clemens told the St. Louis Post Dispatch. "Find a weakness on that defense and then please tell me about it."

Wisconsin Badgers football

The Wisconsin Badgers football team is the intercollegiate football team of University of Wisconsin Madison. The Badgers have competed in the Big Ten Conference since its formation in 1896. They play their home games at Camp Randall Stadium, the fourth oldest stadium in college football. Wisconsin has had two Heisman Trophy winners, Alan Ameche and Ron Dayne, and have had eight www.officialhockeyauthentic.com/womens-youth-al-macinnis-authentic-jersey-c-1_429_443.html former players inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. As of December 1, 2013, the Badgers have an all time record of 653 479 51.[2]

The early years (1899 1912)[edit]

The first Badger football team took the field in 1889, losing the only two games it played that season. In 1890, Wisconsin earned its first victory with a 106 0 drubbing of Whitewater Normal School (now the University of Wisconsin Whitewater), still the most lopsided win in school history. However, the very next week the Badgers suffered what remains their most lopsided defeat, a humiliating 63 0 loss at the hands of the University of Minnesota. Since then, the Badgers and Gophers have met 122 times, making Wisconsin vs Minnesota the most played rivalry in the Football Bowl Subdivision.[4]

Upon the formation of the Big Ten conference in 1896, Wisconsin became the first ever conference champion with a 7 1 1 record. Over the next ten years, the Badgers Patrik Berglund Kids Jersey won or shared the conference title three more times (1897, 1901, and 1906), and recorded their first undefeated season, going 9 0 0 (1901). With the exception of their second undefeated season in 1912, in which they won their fifth Big Ten title.

The climb www.officialhockeyauthentic.com/womens-youth-patrik-berglund-authentic-jersey-c-1_429_438.html back to dominance (1942 1962)[edit]

1942 was an important year for Wisconsin football. On October 24, the 6 ranked Badgers defeated the 1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes at Camp Randall, catapulting Wisconsin to the 2 spot in the AP poll. Unfortunately for the Badgers, their national championship hopes were dashed in a 6 0 defeat by the Iowa Hawkeyes the following week. Nevertheless, Wisconsin won the remainder of its games, finishing the season 8 1 1 and 3 in the AP, while garnering the Helms Athletic Foundation vote for National Champion.

The Badgers experienced great success during the 1950s, finishing in the AP Top 25 eight times that decade. In 1952, the team received its first 1 ranking by the Associated Press. That season, the Badgers again claimed the Big Ten title and earned their first trip to the Rose Bowl. There they were defeated 7 0 by the Southern California, and would finish the season ranked 11 in the AP. In 1954 after a 7 2 season Wisconsin's Alan Ameche became the first badger to win the Heisman Trophy. Wisconsin returned to the Rose Bowl as Big Ten Champions in 1959, but fell to the Washington Huskies, 44 8.

In 1962, the Badgers earned their eighth Big Ten title and faced the top ranked USC Trojans in the Rose Bowl. Despite a narrow 42 37 defeat, the Badgers still ended the season ranked 2 in both the AP and Coaches polls (post bowl rankings were not introduced until later in the decade).

Wisconsin football experienced little success for the remainder of the 1960s, reaching a low point with back to back winless seasons in 1967 and 1968. After languishing through the 1970s, the team had a string of seven win seasons from 1981 84 under Dave McClain. During that time the Badgers played in the Garden State Bowl (1981), Independence Bowl (1982), and Hall of Fame Classic Bowl (1984). McClain's death during spring practice in 1986 sent the Badgers into free fall. From 1986 to 1990, the Badgers won a total of nine games.

Return to relevance with Alvarez era (1990 2005)[edit]

In 1990, Barry Alvarez became the head coach of the Badgers and, following three losing seasons (including a 1 10 campaign in his first year), Alvarez led the Badgers to their first Big Ten championship and first Rose Bowl appearance in over 30 years. On January 1, 1994 Wisconsin defeated UCLA 21 16 to claim its first Rose Bowl victory. Over his 16 year tenure as head coach, Alvarez led the Badgers to two more conference championships (one outright, one shared), eleven bowl games (going 8 3), two more Rose Bowl victories (1999 and 2000), and a 4 ranking in the final AP Poll of the '99 season.

Bret Bielema era (2006 2012)[edit]

Following the 2005 season, Alvarez resigned as headcoach in order to focus on his duties as athletic director, a position he had assumed in 2004. He named his defensive coordinator, Bret Bielema, as his successor. From 2006 to 2011, Bielema led the Badgers to six consecutive bowl appearances (going 2 4). In 2010, the Badgers won a share of the Big Ten Championship and returned to the Rose Bowl for the first time since 2000. There they were defeated 21 19 by the 3 ranked TCU. In 2011, the Badgers were once again crowned Big Ten Champs when they defeated Michigan State in the first ever conference championship game. The victory sent Wisconsin back to the Rose Bowl for a second consecutive year, where they were defeated by the Pac 12 champion Oregon Ducks, 38 45.

The 2012 season ended with the Badgers winning a third consecutive Big Ten title. Despite finishing with a 7 5 record and third in the Leaders Division, the Badgers advanced to the Big Ten Championship game by virtue of the fact that Penn State and Ohio State were ineligible for postseason play. A dominating rushing performance led Wisconsin to a 70 31 victory over 12 ranked Nebraska in the Big Ten Championship game. Only days later, Brett Bielema resigned to become the head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Gary Andersen, formerly coach of Utah State University, was named head coach on December 19, 2012. Barry Alvarez named himself interim coach for the 2013 Rose Bowl, where the Badgers lost, 20 14 to Stanford.

The Badgers have appeared in 24 bowl games and have a record of 11 wins and 13 losses (11 Al Macinnis Kids Jersey 13). Their most recent bowl game was in the 2013 Rose Bowl.

All time Big Ten records[edit]

This chart includes both the overall record the University of Wisconsin Badgers have with the all time Big Ten members, as well as the matchups that counted in the Big Ten standings. Wisconsin has been a member of the Big Ten since its creation in 1896. Michigan rejoined the league in 1917 after leaving in 1906. Chicago withdrew after 1939, and then Michigan State (1953), Penn State (1993), and Nebraska (2011) joined afterwards. (As of December 1, 2013)

Rangers draft Seahawks QB Wilson in Rule 5 draft

ORLANDO, Fla. If Russell Wilson ever decides to give up his NFL career for a return to professional baseball and it's extremely doubtful he will the Seattle Seahawks' quarterback could be relocating to Texas.

The Rangers selected Wilson from the Colorado Rockies' organization with the 15th overall selection in the Triple A phase of what was clearly the oddest move in the Rule 5 Draft that concluded the Winter Meetings on Thursday at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort.

Wilson, 25, spent the 2010 11 seasons as a second baseman in the lower levels of the Rockies' farm system, hitting just .229 in 93 games before turning his attention to college football at Wisconsin as a graduate student after playing three seasons at North Carolina State.

The Seahawks selected Wilson in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft and he doesn't seem headed back to baseball anytime soon. He led Seattle to the playoffs as a rookie last season and the Seahawks lead the NFC with an 11 2 record this season.

"Hey, you never know Olympic Brenden Morrow Canada Jersey what might happen," Rangers professional scouting director Josh Boyd told The Sports Xchange. "He's a gifted athlete and it can't hurt to have him on one of our minor league (reserve lists)."

In Seattle, Wilson was awakened by an early morning phone call from Rangers general manager Jon Daniels, who told him Texas acquired his baseball rights.

"It's a blessing for sure, but at the same time, obviously my focus is on football," Wilson told the Seattle media. "Mr. Daniels and I talked about that. Obviously he knew that."

Wilson does plan to have some involvement with the Rangers, even if it won't involve actual game action.

"I'm sure I'll go down there for spring training and just talk to some of their players and hangout with some of them," he said. "It'd be kind of a cool experience, but that's down the road."

Asked if he would attempt to emulate Bo Jackson, who starred in pro football and baseball, Wilson www.shopcanadahockeyonline.com/olympic+brenden+morrow+canada+jersey said, "I thought about it before, I'm not going to lie. But no. I mean I'm just focused on football."

While Wilson was the headliner of the Rule 5 draft's minor league phase, nine players, including seven pitchers, were selected in the major league phase. Those players must stay on the major league roster of their new teams throughout the 2014 season or be offered back to their original team for half the $50,000 draft price.

Left hander Patrick Shuster was the first player selected, taken by the Houston Astros from the Arizona Diamondbacks then sent to the San Diego Padres as the player to be named to complete an earlier trade. He was 0 1 with a 1.83 ERA in 55 relief appearances with high Class A Visalia this year.

The Chicago White Sox chose catcher Adrian Nieto from the Washington Nationals. He batted .285 with www.shopcanadahockeyonline.com/olympic+alex+pietrangelo+canada+jersey 11 home runs with high Class A Potomac.

Right hander Kevin Munson was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies from the Diamondbacks after going a combined 2 4 with 14 saves and a 4.12 ERA in 53 relief appearances with Triple A Reno and Double A Mobile.

The Olympic Alex Pietrangelo Canada Jersey Rockies picked right hander Tommy Kahnle from the New York Yankees. In 46 relief appearances with Double A Trenton, he went 1 3 with 15 saves and a 2.85 ERA.

Left handed reliever Kevin Moran was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays from the Seattle Mariners then traded to the Toronto Blue Jays for an international signing bonus slot. He was 2 5 with four saves and a 3.45 ERA in 48 games with Triple A Tacoma.

The New York Mets took right hander Seth Rosin from the Phillies, but traded him to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Rosin went 9 6 with a 4.33 ERA in 26 games, including 23 starts, with Double A Reading.

Left hander Wei Chung Wang was chosen by the Milwaukee Brewers from the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was 1 3 with a 3.23 ERA in 12 games, including 11 starts, for the rookie level Gulf Coast League Pirates.

The Diamondbacks drafted right hander Marcos Mateo from the Chicago Cubs after he went a combined 2 0 with one save and 1.74 ERA in 24 games with three farm clubs, topping out at Double A Tennessee. The 29 year old made a total of 44 major league relief appearances for the Cubs in the 2010 11 sesons before undergoing missing 2012 because of Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery.

Third baseman Michael Almanzar was picked by the Baltimore Orioles from the Boston Red Sox after hitting .268 with 16 home runs in 100 games with Double A Portland.

Two players with major league experience were selected in the Triple A phase as the White Sox chose left handed reliever Evan Crawford from the Blue Jays and the Orioles drafted outfielder Julio Borbon from the Cubs. They are not under major league draft rules and can remain in the minor leagues all season without being returned to their original team.

Seahawks back to East Coast to face www.officialhockeyauthentic.com/womens-youth-phil-kessel-authentic-jersey-c-1_455_466.html Falcons

The Seahawks are back in the Phil Kessel Kids Jersey Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs for the second time in three years after a 24 14 win over the Washington Redskins gave the franchise its first postseason road victory in 29 years.

Atlanta, which boasts a 13 3 record despite losing two of its final three regular season games, is the top seeded team in the NFC www.officialhockeyauthentic.com/womens-youth-luke-adam-authentic-jersey-c-1_38_59.html and will look to quarterback Matt Ryan and a group of dynamic wide receivers and future Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez to test a Seattle defense that did not allow the Redskins past midfield in the final three quarters of last weekend's win.

Ryan and the Atlanta offense are ranked seventh in scoring and sixth in passing yards per game and will test a Seahawks secondary that is at full strength and is allowing only 203 yards per game through the air.

Safety Earl Thomas came up with an interception last weekend to bring the team's total to 19 on the Luke Adam Kids Jersey year and his personal tally to four.
