CISTERNINO – La Svezia Rimane in partita per 15 minuti, poi deve alzare bandiera bianca ed arrendersi di fronte all’uragano Ucraina, molto più profondo nelle rotazioni e sotto canestro. Dato inequivocabile lo strapotere a rimbalzo degli ucraini (50 a 31) che hanno permesso agli ucraini di coach Kharchinskyi di avere quasi sempre secondi tiri a canestri per spazzare via una formazione svedese reduce dal ko di Taranto contro la nazionale italiana. Ma nal terzo quarto i giochi sembrano ormai conclusi, l’Ucraina trova il break 18-8 che le permette di allungare sul +22 (59-37) con le triple di Shevchenko e le penetrazioni di Kozachniuk e Smyrnov. Ultimo quarto pura accademia, coach Kharchinskyi allunga le rotazioni e mantiene a debita distanza gli svedesi.
