Sometimes I think that all this is just an illusion and it hasn’t really happened. A volte penso che tutto questo è solo frutto della mia immaginazione e che non sia mai esistito veramente. 2 Feb 2008 Today I was expecting a very boring and stressful journey back, but something special has happened. Actually, because all busses diversions, tube delays.. I was walking costantly saying “Fuck this. Fuck that.” Even the usual Terravision stop was not at the usual place and I had to cross the road and reach another stop.. anyway.. it was there that I met someone like me, looking for this F Terravision coach. His name is Seck.. actually it is the surname but I won’t tell his name because he says that his name is unique. So, if I do not want to reveal his identity I do not have to say his name. Oggi mi aspettavo un noiosissimo e stressantissimo viaggio di ritorno, ma qualcosa di speciale e’ accaduto. In effetti, date tutte le deviazioni degli autobus e i ritardi della metropolitana.. camminavo dicendo di continuo “Faculo questo. Fanculo quello.” Perfino la solita fermata della Terravision non era più al solito posto e quindi ho dovuto attraversare la strada e raggiungere un’altra fermata.. comunque.. lì ho incontrato qualcuno come me, alla ricerca di sto ca di autobus della Terravision. Si chiama Seck.. in realtà e’ il suo cognome, ma non dirò il suo nome perchè dice che e’ unico: così se non voglio svelare la sua identità non devo rivelarne il nome. The story is that, after all TRL problems, I wanted at least to sleep and relax in the coach.. but as I ‘ve told you this journey wasn’t at all what I was expecting. I thought I felt like Plato’s disciples as Seck was speaking, a perfect stranger, with his “almost ” above any religion and morality philosophy:Seck: Worring about future is nonsense because future is just a concept in my our mind and it doen’t really exist.Zjl: Thanks but who is going to feed your children tomorrow?Seck: This you mean is planning, not “worring about the future.” Every kind of worries are useless and they compromise your capability to analyse a difficult situation or a problem and to examine it clearly in order to find a solution. La storia è che dopo tutti i problemi con la TRL volevo almeno dormire e rilassarmi nell’autobus.. ma come ho già detto questo viaggio ha ribaltato del tutto le mie aspettative. Mi sono sentita come un discepolo di Platone quando Seck parlava, un estraneo, con la sua filosofia “quasi” al di sopra di ogni religione e morale :Seck: E’ stupido preoccuparsi del futuro perchè il futuro è solo un concetto nella tua mente e in realtà non esiste..Zjl: Grazie ma chi darà da mangiare ai tuoi figli domani?Seck: Quello che tu intendi e’ pianificare non “preoccuparsi per il futuro”. Ogni tipo di preoccupazione è inutile e compromette la tua capacità di analizzare una situazione difficile o un problema e di esaminarlo con chiarezza per trovarne la soluzione. Zjl: Cool. Ok. That’s obvious, but the point is how the H do you manage to avoid “worrying”.Seck: There is no point in worrying, you could easily admit this and this is why I do not worry.Zjl: That doesn’t work with me!Seck: Let’s say you are worried about money.. Actually you are worrying for about you survival, but you do not have really to worry about it because you rely on yourself and you know that in a way or the other you will find a way to earn enough for surviving. Do you rely on yourself?Zjl: The fact that I’ve got the money doren’t depend only on me but also on external or non-manageble internal factors (e.g. illnesses)Seck: But you rely on the fact that you can actually affect external and internal processes with your own energies and actions. So the first point is that you rely on yourself. Zjl: Fico. Ok. Ovvio, ma il punto è come C eviti di “preoccuparti”?Seck: Non c’e’ nessun motivo per preoccuparsi, hai potuto ammetterlo facilmente e questo e’ il motivo per cui non mi preoccupo.Zjl: Ma non funziona con me!Seck: Diciamo che sei preoccupato per I soldi.. In realtà ti stai solo preoccupando per la tua sopravvivenza, ma non devi affatto preoccuparti per questo perché tu puoi sempre contare su te stesso e sai che in un modo o nell’altro guadagnerai a sufficienza per sopravvivere. Conti su te stessa?Zjl: Il fatto che io abbia I soldi non dipende solo da me ma anche da fattori esterni o interni non controllabili ad esempio malattie.Seck: Ma tu conti anche sul fatto che puoi influenzare I processi interni ed esterni con le ture energie e azioni. Così il primo punto è che devi contare su te stesso. Zjl: So, again how can I stop worrying about the future, because I am not able to do it like 99% of the people on the earth. Seck: You have to decide your beliefs. And this will give you solidity.At this words, I was thinking he was speaking about a religion, then he explained me he was speaking about the way you see the world, and your position in it.Seck: Maybe this example helps. Let’s say you think that it is risky to have any kind of contact with a stranger , because it can be that this person can have bad intentions, as a consequence you’ll never take the risk, maybe you won’t even speak to him. But think: you yourself are a stranger to every other people you do not know, does this mean that you can have bad intentions towards others?Zjl: Certainly yes. It can be that someone wants to rob you abuse of you or even worse kill you. There are sometimens I would kill.. even if I am not doing it. And you see, I lie, I lie a lot, in order to obtain what I want or what I need. I lie on purpose to the detriment of others. I am bad. So, I do have really bad intentions, and so do people.Seck: You lie? Really?Zjl: Come on! You lie to get rid of people who annoy you or to get the most of a situation.Seck: So you lie and you like it and are quite happy with that. That means you are coherent with your beliefs, that’s what I mean for integrity, and I am not speaking about a moral attitude. Zjl: Così ancora come posso smetterla di preoccuparmi per il futuro, perchè io come il 99% di esseri umani sulla terra non riesco a farlo.Seck: Devi stabilire i tuoi credo e questo ti darà solidità.A queste parole pensai che stesse parlando di una religione, ma poi mi spiegò che stava parlando del modo in si vede il mondo e la propria posizione in esso.Seck: Forse questo esempio può aiutare: Diciamo che tu pensi che sia rischioso avere un qualsiasi tipo di contatto con un estraneo, perché può essere che questa persona abbia cattive intenzioni, quindi non prenderai mai il rischio del contatto, forse nemmeno di parlarci. Può essere che qualcuno voglia derubarti, abusare di te o peggio ucciderti. Ci sono delle volte in cui vorrei uccidere, anche se non lo faccio. E vedi.. io mento,mento un sacco per ottenere quello che voglio e ciò di cui ho bisogno. Mento di proposito a discapito degli altri. Sono cattiva. In pratica, ho cattive intenzioni, e così sono anche tutti gli altri.Seck: Menti? Davvero?Zjl: Andiamo! Si mente per liberarsi della gente che ti infastidisce o per sfruttare al massimo una situazione.Seck: Allora tu menti e ti piace e ti soddisfa, Ciò significa che sei coerente coi tuoi credo, e questo e’ quello che chiamo integrità, e non sto parlando di regole morali. Everyday at least for few minutes everybody should stop thinking about their daily business and worries and try to built their beliefs. Take a panoramic view in our lives and try to understand what is really important for us. Tutti dovrebbero almeno per pochi minuti al giorno smetterla di pensare alle proprie faccende e preoccupazioni quotidiane e cercare di costruire i propri credo. Assumere una visione panoramica della propria vita e cercare di capire cosa veramente conta.
