Helsinki nel
1984 dal
batterista e
cantante Tuomo Lassila, dal
chitarrista Staffan Stråhlman e dal
bassista John Vihervä.La loro grande produzione musicale, 15 album e una miriade di
singoli, è sempre stata di altissimo livello. Nel
1997 con
Visions, approfittando del filone
power metal che tornava di moda, cavalcarono l'onda e, grazie ai loro pezzi molto veloci e tecnici, divennero uno dei gruppi più famosi al mondo nel loro genere.Le loro canzoni possono essere facilmente riconosciute per i travolgenti
riff di
chitarra e i duetti con la
tastiera che fanno da supporto ad una delle
