The Giza website (www.gizapyramids.org) launched in 2005. Serving as one possible model for archaeological information management, the Giza Archives Project has opened up new avenues of Giza research. This talk will provide an update on recent efforts to link historic Giza archaeological data from around the world (Berkeley, Berlin, Boston, Cairo, Giza, Hildesheim, Leipzig, Philadelphia, Turin, Vienna) with real-time 3D computer models of the Giza monuments. Merging the old and the new provide for a new interface and new teaching tools for understanding context on the Giza Plateau.
