Non ho chiesto un posto nell'olimpo io,so quello che sono...e lo sa anche il Dio.Mai toccherò vette alte,mai brillerò più del sole,mai mi guarderò allo specchio con soddisfazione;So che il cielo è solo un'angolo visto dai miei occhi,e che i sogni sono fiammelle brillanti nell'anima mia...ma di quei sogni vivo!E nulla mi ferma, nulla mi trattiene;Nei meandri dell'animale mie poesie sono preghiere.
