Progetti Geologici

Dublino e Irlanda

Back in 2004, I was fortunate to work for the Geological Survey of Ireland for 7 months, which gave me the opportunity to see some of Ireland's wonderful natural landscapes and make use of all my skills as a geologist, photographer and writer.More than anything else, it made me realise that there was much more to life than the old and dying industrial town in the north of England where I have been living for far too long and it put a smile back on my face. The main reason for this was that for 4 months I shared an apartment block with many Italians and Spanish who had come to Dublin to learn English. As the only native English speaker, I was asked so many questions about the English language that I simply could not answer. I tried to help where I could and it gave me an idea that perhaps this is what I should be doing in life.Having since obtained an internationally recognised English teaching qualification, the big question now is........should I be doing this in Spain or Italy? To be continued......
