Progetti Geologici

Back in 2004, I was fortunate to work for the Geological Survey of Ireland for 7 months, which gave me the opportunity to see some of Ireland's wonderful natural landscapes and make use of all my skills as a geologist, photographer and writer.

More than anything else, it made me realise that there was much more to life than the old and dying industrial town in the north of England where I have been living for far too long and it put a smile back on my face. The main reason for this was that for 4 months I shared an apartment block with many Italians and Spanish who had come to Dublin to learn English. As the only native English speaker, I was asked so many questions about the English language that I simply could not answer. I tried to help where I could and it gave me an idea that perhaps this is what I should be doing in life.

Having since obtained an internationally recognised English teaching qualification, the big question now is........should I be doing this in Spain or Italy?
