E’ su tutti i giornali, su tutte le tv; i tg fanno servizi ed interviste, dimostrando come al solito quanto le notizie vengano create in modo approssimativo e stupido. L’avrete letto visto che non potevate farne a meno: nel 1991 “Un aereo passeggeri di Alitalia, diretto a Heathrow, avrebbe incrociato un oggetto non identificato sui cieli di Lydd, in Kent. Il capitano del velivolo avrebbe avvisato il copilota indicandogli uno strano apparecchio marrone sconosciuto a forma di missile che ha superato l’aereo. Il ministero della Difesa britannico dopo l’episodio aprì un'inchiesta, ma avendo appurato che non si trattava di un pallone aerostatico per uso meteorologico o di un razzo spaziale, archiviò l’indagine.”. La notizia esce fuori ora grazie al fatto che la Difesa di Londra ha declassificato e reso pubblici su internet i documenti riguardanti 19 avvistamenti di Ufo, avvenuti tra il 1986 e il 1992.Che bella notizia! Peccato che già era conosciuta anche da noi e 17 anni fa stava su tutti i giornali. La scarsa memoria dei giornalisti è da premiare con un pat pat in testa. E la pecoronaggine degli altri che hanno copiato l’agenzia ed abbellito con frasi tipo “alieni“, “x-files” e stupidaggini varie. Un bravo giornalista magari sarebbe andato in emeroteca e cercato nei giornali dell’epoca. Magari avrebbe trovato una notizia inerente. Ne scriveva anni fa il dr. David Clarke nel suo catalogo TNA (The National Archives): Pages 107 - 121: Close encounter between an Italian MD-80 airliner, carrying 57 passengers, and an unidentified 'missile' on the evening of 21 April 1991. The pilot of Alitalia Flight AZ 284 en route from Milan to Heathrow, was descending under control by London Air Traffic Control when at 22,000 feet over the Kent countryside he was stunned to see an object "similar to a missile - light brown or fawn - about three metres in length but without any exhaust flame" cross the path of his aircraft heading west to east. The pilot's report filed with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) reveals he was so fearful of a collision that he cried "Look out! Look out!" to his co-pilot who immediately saw the same object through the cockpit window. They called Air Traffic Control to ask if they had anything on radar and were told "I see an unknown target 10 nautical miles behind you."The aircrew's report and the radar photographs depicting a "possible slow moving target - cruise missile?" are at DEFE 24/1953/1: pages 67-77. Papers covering the investigation by MoD are at DEFE 24/1955/1: pages 107-121 and DEFE 24/1953/1: pages 84-123. The inquiry ruled out the possibility that any British or American missile had been fired from the Army ranges at Lydd in Kent, or from a ship at sea. In closing the file, the MoD admit they were unable to explain the incident, writing : "In the absence of any clear evidence which could be used to identify the object it is our intention to treat this sighting like that of any other Unidentified Flying Object and therefore will not be able to undertake any further investigation into the sighting" (DEFE 24/1955/1: page107). A similar incident occurred in the following year when a 737 crew reported a near-miss with an object similar to a radar-guided missile travelling at Mach 3 speed near the island of Elba, off the Italian coast. This report was referred to the Defence Intelligence staff for investigation, according to papers at DEFE 24/1954/1: page 189.Non traduco in italiano o qualche “giornalista” si troverebbe la pappa pronta.
