Is Water Heater For You?

Post n°4 pubblicato il 13 Dicembre 2010 da LotarMattey

There are several important issues in assessing this type of heater is best for your home. Answers will quickly tell you what you want to know.

Firstly, how the house should be supplied by the water heater? If the answer is that it must be a water heater for any home, the two tank units tankless and energy could do the trick. Costs are often comparable between the popular tankless models and high-end tank systems effectively. This means that both are more expensive than tank units to low or medium quality.

Secondly, it goes into a new house under construction, or you're simply replacing a furnace in an existing house? Depending on your plumbing is in place, and the source of your furnace, the costs of installing a tankless unit in an existing structure could be prohibitive. Installing a system can operate without tank 2 to 4 times the cost of a unit of tanks. If you want to install an electric tankless system, you may have to upgrade your electrical panel and wiring to accommodate the huge power draw appliances when they received a call for hot water. If you are installing a gas or propane, you should make sure you have good ventilation, air, and spacing requirements that the manufacturer and local codes specify. This kind of adaptation can be costly. It is much more economical to install a tankless system when a house is under construction. An additional advantage is that you can install one in the whole house radiant heating system, bosh tankless hot water heater and water as a nice little bonus since the water is heated anyway and there is little additional cost.

Thirdly, what power source will be the heater? In some areas, electricity is very expensive compared to gas. If you have natural gas delivered by pipeline in your house already, which makes a gas tankless way to go, so that ventilation changes and air does not get out of hand. If you now have an all electric house and would need to be introduced gas piping, this conversion could wipe out cost savings over the years to come. You do not consider this amendment, if you had to stay home long enough to achieve these savings, which means that for many years. If you sell your home in a few years (say less than 5), this conversion does not make much financial sense. electrical heaters tankless generally lack the power of heating than gas units to do. For example, a unit of gas can heat up to about 5 liters per minute, while the electrical device typically operates at about 3. If you have a house full of nuts hot shower, you want the device of greater capacity. Of course, these are more expensive to purchase and operate. Operating costs for electric appliances usually save 10-20% of total energy costs, while gas units can save 20-40%. Although it sounds good, calculate your current energy costs are now, and then calculate what the savings would be dollars for the new unit. Depending on energy costs, your savings can be big a few hundred dollars per year.
