In occasione dei 20 anni dalla morte di Miles (28 settembre 1991) il 20 settembre uscirà per la Columbia Legacy un cofanetto di inediti composto da 3 compact ed un dvd dal titolo "The Miles Davis Quintet Live in Europe 1967: The Bootleg Series vol. 1". La formazione è stellare: Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter e Tony Williams.Il box comprende tutte le registrazioni live del 1967 ad Anversa, Copenhagen e Parigi ed il dvd le immagini dei concerti di Stoccolma e Karlsruhe. Se alcune di queste registrazioni hanno visto la luce su bootleg e/o il web, il concerto di Copenhagen è totalmente inedito cosi' come alcuni brani (Agitation e Footprints) dai nastri parigini.Le sorgenti del materiale provengono dalle registrazioni radio-televisive ed il box, prodotto da Michael Cuscuna, è accompagnato da un libretto a cura di Ashley Kahn autore del monumentale Kind of Blue: The Making of the Miles Davis Masterpiece.La track list del cofanetto:CD 1 : 1.
