Un festival dedicato a Braxton e alle sue molteplici sfaccettature è quello che si svolgerà a New York dal 5 al 8 ottobre al Roulette. Secondo il comunicato stampa "energie, idee, intuizioni che comprendono lirica, sinfonica, musica da camera, opere elettro-acustiche, cori e balletti eseguiti dagli interpreti principali della musica di Braxton, siano essi provenienti dalla musica improvvisata sia dalla musica classica." E in ognuna delle quattro sere il sassofonista e compositore chicagoano si esibirà come musicista o come conduttore; subito dopo la fine del festival l'etichetta Tri-Centric Foundation pubblicherà un cofanetto di 4 compact con la prima opera di Braxton, Trillium E, che completa il ciclo Trillium.
