Branford Marsalis will release In My Solitude: Live at Grace Cathedral, his first solo album, Oct. 21 on Marsalis Music via OKeh Records. Recorded Oct. 5, 2012, the album was cut live at the San Francisco landmark and features Marsalis on soprano, alto and tenor saxophones. The cathedral was the site of one of Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concerts in the ’60s and, since 1983, home to recitals of the annual San Francisco Jazz Festival.Fonte:
