Hunza Valley is a mountainous valley in Gilgit in the Gilgit-Baltistan autonomous region, an area under the control of the government of Pakistan. The Hunza valley is situated to the north of the Hunza River, at an elevation of around 2,500 metres (8,200 ft). The territory of Hunza is about 7,900 square kilometres (3,100 sq mi). Karimabad (formerly called Baltit) is the main town, which is also a very popular tourist destination because of the spectacular scenery of the surrounding mountains like Ultar Sar, Rakaposhi, Bojahagur Duanasir II, Hunza Peak, Diran Peak and Bublimating (Ladyfinger Peak), all 6,000 metres (19,685 ft) or higher.ITINERARY DAY 01:  ISLAMABAD Our guide and driver will pick you at the airport in Islamabad or Lahore and transfer to Hotel in Islamabad for overnight stay.DAY 02: ISLAMABAD - CHILAS Early morning drive to Chilas it takes approximately 10 hours to reach Chilas from Islamabad, This day we will drive on the Karakoram High which is the highest paved international road in the world. It connects China and Pakistan across the Karakoram mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, at an altitude of 4,693 m/15,397 ft as confirmed by both SRTM and multiple GPS readings. overnight at Chilas.DAY 03: CHILAS – GULMIT Gulmit is the headquarter of the Gojal Tehsil, in the upper Hunza region of the Gilgit territory in the deep in the Karakoram Mountain Range. Gulmit is a centuries-old historic town, with mountains, peaks and glaciers. It is a tourist spot and has many hotels, shops and a museum. Its altitude is 2408m (7900 ft) above the Arabian Sea level. On the way we will pass through the Rakaposhi view point from where you can see and take a close up shot of the beautiful white show capped Rakaposhi Peak 7788m, after having lunch at the Rakaposhi view point we will continue driving toward Gulmit. Arrive and transfer to the hotel for overnight.DAY 04: DAY HIKE TO BORITH A day for easy trekking, exploring Ghulkin Village, Kamaris Village, Passu Glacier on the way to Passu Glacier you can also view beautiful Borith Lake. Lunch at Borith and drive to Gulmit overnight in Gulmit.DAY 05: GULMIT - KARIMABADKarimabad is the capital of Hunza in Gilgit-Baltistan, northern Pakistan. Karimabad is also known as Baltit. It is named after Prince Karim Aga Khan, the spiritual head of Shia Ismaili Nizari community. It is one of the most beautiful places in Pakistan and it swarms with tourists from all around the world during summers. It provides spectacular views of many beautiful mountains like Rakaposhi, Diran Peak, Golden Peak, Ulter Peak, Lady Finger, Hunza Peak and some others. This day we will visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, Bazaar. In the evening we will drive to Duiker to see the view of sunset from there. over night at Karimabad.DAY 06: KARIMABAD - BESHAM Drive back to Beshim on Karakoram Highway (KKH) in route stop over at chilas for lunch and over night at Beshim hotel (approx 9hrs Drive)DAY 07:  BESHAM - ISLAMABAD Early morning we will drive to Islamabad, en-route we will visit the Taxila Museum. Construction of Taxila museum started in 1918, its foundation stone laid by Lord Chemsford, vicery of India in 1918. Construction was concluded in 1928 and the museum was opened for public by Sir Habibullah then the ministry for Education. Sir John Marshall who was going to be retired from the post of Director General of Archaeological survey of India in 1928, could not complete its original plan. The government of Pakistan constructed the northern gallery in 1998. There are 4000 objects displayed, including stone, stucco, terracotta, silver, gold, iron and semiprecious stones. Mainly the display consists of objects from the period 600 B.C to 500 AD. Buddhist, hindu and Jain cults are well represented through these objects discovered from three ancient cities and more than two dozen buddhist stupas and monasteries and Greek temples. Taxila Museum is located 35 km from Islamabad on the Grand Trunk Road to Peshawar. It is famous for remains of Gandhara art. Most of the sites at Taxila, dating back 600 BCE to 500 CE, are located around the Taxila Museum.DAY 08: ISLAMABADThis will be the last day in Pakistan; we will visit Faisal Mosque, Pirshowaha, Margala Hills and the local market for shopping.
