Il 17 febbraio, presso la londinese O2 Academy Brixton, si terrà la cerimonia inerente i britannici NME Awards 2016. Ideati dal magazine NME (New Musical Express), saranno conferiti sulla base delle indicazioni espresse dai lettori della rivista, ma anche seguendo i pareri dei sostenitori di quella band o di quel singolo artista, con le preferenze indicate dal
sito web, alternativa alla versione cartacea (anche questa 'free') di NME. In aggiunta, sarà possibile indicare il miglior film e il miglior programma televisivo, il miglior attore e la migliore attrice, fino al libro e al videogioco dell'anno appena trascorso.Nel frattempo, sono state annunciate le nomination.
