Il 10 gennaio si svolgerŕ la cerimonia dei Golden Globe Awards, nel corso della quale sarŕ assegnato il prestigioso riconoscimento riguardante il cinema e la televisione. La 73.a edizione dell'evento sarŕ presentata da Ricky Gervais, attore e comico che ha giŕ ricoperto questo ruolo in altre tre occasioni.I vincitori dei premi saranno decretati da una giuria di circa novanta giornalisti della stampa estera iscritti all'HFPA (Hollywood Foreign Press Association).
