Il corrispondente premio al femminile lo ha ricevuto Emeli Sandé. The 1975 si sono assicurati il Best British Group. Adele è stata la destinataria del Global Success Award.Conferiti agli esponenti della pop music dalla British Phonographic Industry, i BRIT Awards sono stati assegnati nel corso della cerimonia che si è svolta il 22 febbraio presso la O2 Arena di Londra.
