Da domani si comincia: pantaloni eleganti, camicia bianca e sarò la serissima ma accattivante promoter di una casa editrice per bambini. Spero che vada tutto bene... per avere un lavoro che duri almeno un mesetto o due! Al colloquio mi è sembrato tutto molto serio e ben organizzato, la paga buona... bisogna vedere per quanto tempo riuscirò a incastrare tutte le mie attività non pagate con questo nuovo lavoro. E il circolo Bel-Ami, e il giornale, e la tesi di laurea, e gli amici, e i concorsi, e (perchè no?) il blog...

Già lo so: arriverò lì iper-carica e per le prime ore sarò galvanizzata: sorridente come Barbie e gentile come Nonna Isa... e poi... poi dipenderà dalla situazione. Di solito quando se un lavoro comincia a non piacermi inizio a guardare l'orologio, contare il tempo, distrarmi... Spero che non succeda visto che le giornate di lavoro sono full-time, quindi la tortura sarebbe alquanto estenuante! Finirei per consumare un paio di pacchetti di caramelle senza zucchero alla liquirizia e guardando bambini e le mamme con una puntina di nausea, passerei alla fase del sorriso falso e delle "1000 e più tecniche per liberarsi dal cliente persuadendolo a non comprare niente" (ah queste un giorno ve le spiegherò). Naturalmente sarebbe realtà solo nel peggiore dei mondi possibili... lo scrivo tanto per esorcizzare la paura.

Intanto ho consegnato la seconda versione dell'articolo su Calatrava, ci voleva più virgolettato e io l'ho accontentata... anche se, visto l'incredibile proto-italiano con tinteggiature latine e spagnole dell'architetto, non potevo certo citarlo alla lettera! Avrei rischiato di renderlo grottesco con frasi del tipo "sono felice di aver compartito questo tempo con voi", e invece il valenciano cosmopolita non era privo di fascino! Sarà che il successo stesso è affascinante: così un architetto di 55 anni, dalle sopracciglia cespugliose e i modi bislacchi, diventa molto interessante se ha già costruito opere avveniristiche in mezzo mondo! Da New York all'Europa è stimato e riverito in tutto il mondo.

Ed ora è il momento della tesi: a noi!
