Pistorius, per pm è omicidio premeditato. Atleta respinge accuse

PRETORIA (Reuters) - L'atleta sudafricano Oscar Pistorius, star delle Paralimpiadi e uno dei nomi più noti dell'atletica mondiale, è stato accusato formalmente oggi davanti al tribunale di Pretoria di aver ucciso la sua fidanzata.

In aula, i pubblici ministeri hanno detto che sosterranno l'accusa di omicidio premeditato per Pistorius, accusato di aver sparato alla fidanzata nella loro casa.

L'atleta, che corre con protesi in fibra di carbonio, ha contestato l'accusa mossagli oggi "nel modo più forte possibile", come riferito dal suo agente in un comunicato.

L'udienza è stata rinviata al prossimo 19 febbraio e fino ad allora l'atleta rester in custodia.

Pistorius è scoppiato in lacrime quando gli è stato letto il capo d'imputazione.
