La Borsa di Tokyo ha chiuso anche oggi in rialzo. Il Nikkei ha guadagnato lo 0,8% a 9.162,50 punti e il Topix lo 0,9% a 765,81 punti. Era da più di tre mesi che il Nikkei non chiudeva a tali livelli. La cancelliera tedesca Angela Merkel ha difeso ieri l'operato della BCE indicando che l'intenzione di Mario Draghi di fare tutto il necessario per difendere la zona euro è in linea con ciò che i leader europei stanno dicendo da tempo. La notizia ha ridotti i timori dei mercati finanziari relativi alla crisi del debito. La Borsa di Tokyo ha beneficiato inoltre dei positivi dati macroeconomici pubblicati ieri negli USA, il principale partner commerciale del Giappone. Gli esportatori hanno brillato anche oggi. Honda ha guadagnato il 2,4%, Panasonic il 2,6% e Sonyl'1,9%. Lo yen è sceso rispetto al dollaro ai minimi da circa un mese. Yamaha Motor ha chiuso in rialzo del 6,7%. Credit Suisse ha alzato il suo rating sul titolo del secondo produttore al mondo di motociclette da "Neutral" ad "Outperform". Tokyo Steel Manufacturing ha guadagnato il 5%. Il produttore d'acciaio ha annunciato un aumento dei prezzi delle ferraglie per la prima volta da inizio aprile.
