Tokyo, 5 dic. - (Adnkronos/Dpa) - Le big entreranno in gioco solo fra una settimana, ma la tecnologia contro i gol fantasma fara' il suo ingresso in campo gia' domani. Il Mondiale per club si prepara ad ospitare una vera e propria rivoluzione per il mondo del calcio. Per i sistemi Hawk-Eye e GoalRef il torneo iridato in programma in Giappone rappresenta infatti il primo, importante banco di prova ufficiale dopo le sperimentazioni e il via libera ottenuto dalla Fifa. L'esordio e' in programma nella sfida-spareggio fra i giapponesi del Sanfrecce Hiroshima e i neozelandesi di Auckland City a Yokohama. "E' una rivoluzione, e' la prima volta che questo tipo di tecnologia entra nel gioco del calcio", ha evidenziato Jerome Valcke, segretario generale della Fifa, in una conferenza stampa. "I test sono stati effettuati e hanno dato riscontri positivi. Questo anche per noi e' un giorno importante perche' uno dei due sistemi che utilizzeremo qui sara' utilizzato in occasione della Confederations Cup del prossimo anno", ha aggiunto Valcke. Nel Mondiale per club ciascun arbitro potra' decidere, un'ora e mezza prima del fischio d'inizio, quale sistema adottare nella partita da lui diretta. Il sistema GoalRef usa un microchip nel pallone mentre l'Hawk-Eye (occhio di falco), da tempo utilizzato nel tennis e nel cricket, si affida a una telecamera per smascherare eventuali gol fantasma. I due sistemi sono stati approvati il 5 luglio dall'International Board.
