My beauty queen sister got a veneer on her teeth two years ago. Prior to the veneer, her teeth were really small and her handler told her that beauty queens need to have big teeth. So, she got her teeth puffed-up.

So, anyways, she called me yesterday and asked for my opinion on teeth blings. She’s considering putting some on her teeth. I’m not sure if she really needs it for her job as a model, but a teeth bling doesn’t sound bad.

So, I did some research. It seems that the glittering blings of some hip-hop stars aren’t exactly extraordinary. They have been around for centuries now dating as far back as 2,500 years ago. Apparently, ancient civilizations have been practicing teeth decoration during their time by putting semi-precious stones, grooves and notches in their teeth. Their dentists use a drill-like device to puncture holes in the bone where the ornamental stones will be attached.
