Roma, 30 mag. - (Adnkronos/Cinematografo.it) - Michelle Pfeiffer potrebbe affiancare Robert De Niro in 'Badfellas', gangster-movie diretto da Luc Besson. Lo riporta Variety parlando di trattative in fase avanzate fra l'attrice e Relativity Media che produrra' il progetto con la EuropaCorp di Besson.
Basato sul romanzo di Tonino Benacquista, 'Badfellas' (ispirato a sua volta da 'Goodfellas - Quei bravi ragazzi' di Scorsese), racconta la storia dei Manzonis, una famiglia mafiosa trapiantata in Normandia.
De Niro interpretera' un "padrino" in pensione che si trasferisce in Francia, inserito nel programma di protezione testimoni. L'uomo racconta ai nuovi vicini e conoscenti di essersi trasferito li' per fare ricerche per un libro sulla Seconda Guerra Mondiale che sta scrivendo. Presto pero' il suo violento passato tornera' a fargli visita. Michelle Pfeiffer, qualora entrasse definitivamente nel cast, sara' la moglie del boss. Riprese al via ad agosto in Francia, negli studi di La Cite' du Cine'ma.
