IRAN: Iranian President Hassan Rohani advocates dialogue with the West


  Iran's new president was sworn Hassan Rohani Sunday before Parliament, vowing to abide by the Constitution and protect the official religion of the Islamic Republic of Iran. With the formation of his government, the new president has appointed former Iranian ambassador to the UN, Mohammad Javad Zarif, as Foreign Minister. He also replaced at the head of the oil ministry, a key position in Iran, Bijan Zanganeh, who had held the position in a reformist government between 1997 and 2005.
