VERSO IL CAMPIONATO MONDIALE DI PALLASTRADA

In base alla deliberazione n° 147 del Comitato Internazionale per la Diffusione del Calcetto - Pallastrada

MARTEGGIA,

brumosa e limacciosa località alle porte della laguna di Venezia, è stata scelta come sede del Campionato Mondiale di Pallastrada, prestigiosa ed esoterica attività sportiva riservata agli orfani.

Le competizioni si si sono disputate nell'arco della giornata di Martedì 24 Aprile 2007.

Svolgendosi la competizione in Italia e proprio a Marteggia, era stato riservato un posto di diritto ad una squadra locale.

Il gruppo di Meolo Gym aveva proposto la sua autorevole candidatura: il comitato organizzatore, dopo un'attenta vagliatura, aveva dato il suo placet.

Meolo Gym, pertanto, avrebbe avuto la possibilità di partecipare con una propria squadra, in rappresentanza dell'intero popolo italiano. Purtroppo non è stato possibile assicurare il numero minimo di giocatori per pigrizia degli stessi.

Le regole del calcetto - pallastrada sono difformi da quelle del calcetto e devono considerarsi la naturale evoluzione delle regole della pallastrada, enunciate per la prima volta dal celebre scrittore Stefano Benni.
