Ho scelto un brano che il gruppo grunge per eccellenza ha cantato nel 1993 nella celebre esibizione unplugged a New York per MTV da cui è stato tratto, appunto, il disco "MTV Unplugged in New York", uscito nel fatidico 1994, anno in cui Cobain ha deciso di passare tra i più. La canzone è una cover di un brano di David Bowie del 1970 e si intitola "The man who sold the world". Bellissimo uno stralcio di dichiarazione di Bowie che ho letto preparando il post e che vi riporto "Quando suono The Man Who Sold the World ci sono sempre un sacco di ragazzini che mi dicono "È fantastico che tu faccia una canzone dei Nirvana", e io penso "Fottetevi, piccoli segaioli!"".
