Dal 2014 ho nelle bozze dei post da pubblicare il titolo "I drove all night" di Roy Orbison. Non ricordo nemmeno perchè. Probabilmente la sentii e la memorizzai per una eventuale futura pubblicazione. Penso che dopo giorni di novità più o meno.... ci siamo capiti... sia giunto il momento di pubblicarla. Cercando testo e video ho scoperto che Roy ha inciso il brano nel 1987, un anno prima di morire, ma la canzone è stata pubblicata, postuma, solo nel 1992 nell'album "King of hearts". Nel frattempo nel 1988 ne ha inciso una versione di successo Cindy Lauper a cui hanno fatto seguito diverse cover. In ogni caso anche se dopo Cindy, la versione originalre resta questa.
