Un disco... Pulp

C'è una canzone che a Radio Capital passano spesso e che a me ricorda un brano dei Baustelle, non so perchè.... Chiedo aiuto a Vincent. Buon ascolto e a domani!!Disco 2000 (Pulp)Oh we were born within one hour of each otherOur mothers said we could be sister and brotherYour name is Deborah, DeborahIt never suited yaAnd they said that when we grew upWe'd get married, and never split upOh, we never did it, although I often thought of itOh Deborah, do you recall?Your house was very smallWith wood chip on the wallWhen I came around to callYou didn't notice me at allAnd I said let's all meet up in the year 2000Won't it be strange when we're all fully grownBe there 2 o'clock by the fountain down the roadI never knew that you'd get marriedI would be living down here on my ownOn that damp and lonely Thursday years agoYou were the first girl at school to get breastsAnd Martyn said that you were the bestOh the boys all loved you, but I was a messI had to watch them trying to get you undressedWe were friends, that was as far as it wentI used to walk you home sometimes but it meantOh, it meant nothing to you'Cause you were so popularDeborah do you recall?Your house was very smallWith woodchip on the wallWhen I came around to callYou didn't notice me at allAnd I said let's all meet up in the year 2000Won't it be strange when we're all fully grownBe there 2 o'clock by the fountain down the roadI never knew that you'd get marriedI would be living down here on my ownOn that damp and lonely Thursday years agoDo itOh yeahOh yeahAh Deborah do you recall?Oh, your house was very smallWith wood chip on the wallWhen I came around to callYou didn't notice me at allAnd I said let's all meet up in the year 2000Won't it be strange when we're all fully grownBe there 2 o'clock by the fountain down the roadI never knew that you'd get marriedI would be living down here on my ownOn that damp and lonely Thursday years agoOh what are you doing Sunday babyWould you like to come and meet me maybe? You can even bring your babyOh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh oohWhat are you doing Sunday babyWould you like to come and meet me maybe? You can even bring your babyOoh ooh oh oh ooh ooh oohOoh ooh ooh ooh ooh
