Ieri sera ho visto un film uscito nel 2019 che mi è piaciuto molto. Si intitola "Yesterday" ed è la storia di un ragazzo inglese che prova a sfondare come cantante con scarso successo. Un giorno, dopo un blackout mondiale che gli causa anche un incidente in bici, è l'unico che si ricorda dell'esistenza dei Beatles e delle loro canzoni. Sono spariti sia fisicamente che musicalmente dalla memoria collettiva e quindi.... Cosa c'è di meglio per un aspirante cantante di avere a sua completa disposizione alcune delle più belle canzoni della storia della musica mondiale? Tra gli interpreti c'è anche Ed Sheeran che fa se stesso e che è costretto ad inchinarsi davanti alla "bravura" dello sconosciuto ragazzo. La battuta più bella del film è quella della manager di Ed che ad un certo punto dice "Povero Ed, pensava di essere il Messia e invece è Giovanni Battista". Ve lo consiglio perchè essendo, di fatto, un film sulla musica dei Beatles è pieno zeppo di belle canzoni considerando che anche quelle di Sheeran non sono male. E proprio per questro film il cantante rosso ha composto un inedito dal titolo "One life" che ho scelto come canzone del giorno. Il video è fatto con scene dal film così vi fate un'idea più precisa.
