1a canzone al giorno

L'ultimo ballo dei The Drifters

Ho appena finito di guardare il film "The big wedding" su Rai Uno con Robert De Niro. Il brano finale era cantato da Michael Bublè e si intitola "Save the last dance for me". Bublè l'ha inciso nel 2006 ma l'originale è dei The Drifters ed è del 1960 ed è anche la canzone del giorno. O della sera.... O della notte... Fate voi.... Buon ascolto!!Save the last dance for me (The Drifters)You can danceEv'ry dance with the guyWho gives you the eyeLet him hold you tightYou can smileEv'ry smile for the man who held your hand'Neath the pale moonlightBut don't forget who's taking you homeAnd in whose arms you're gonna beSo darlin', save the last dance for me, mmmmOh, I know (oh, I know)That the music's fineLike sparkling wineGo and have your funLaugh and singBut while we're apartDon't give your heart to anyoneBut don't forget who's taking you homeAnd in whose arms you're gonna beSo darlin', save the last dance for me, mmmmBaby, don't you knowI love you soCan't you feel it when we touchI will never, never let you goI love you oh, so muchYou can dance (you can dance)Go and carry on'Til the night is goneAnd it's time to goIf he asks if you're all aloneCan he take you home you must tell him no'Cause don't forget who's taking you homeAnd in whose arm's you're gonna beSo, darlin', save the last dance for me'Cause don't forget who's taking you homeAnd in whose arm's your gonna beSo, darlin', save the last dance for me, mmmmSave the last dance for me, mmmm-hummmmSave the last dance for me, mmmm
