Ieri sera avevo già preparato la seconda parte del post sulla TV quando, poco prima di andare a nanna, ho appreso la notizia della morte di Mike Francis. Tutti lo ricorderanno per "Survivor", sicuramente il suo pezzo più noto, che ha fatto parte anche della colonna sonora di "Notte prima degli esami". Mike Francis in realtà si chiamava Francesco Puccioni ed era nato a Firenze anche se di fatto è poi cresciuto a Roma. Oltre a Survivor sono pochi, sinceramente i pezzi che conosco, e navigando qua e là ho scoperto che invece ha una produzione notevole anche come produttore e scopritore di talenti. Ci ha lasciati a nemmeno 48 anni a causa di un tumore ad un polmone. A questo punto non potevo non far slittare il post preparato a domani e salutare anche Mike.
