1a canzone al giorno

Oggi metto quella che per me è una delle più belle canzoni di sempre. Si tratta di "Father and son" di Cat Stevens diventato poi Ysuf Islam dopo la sua conversione all'Islam che un primo tempo lo portò anche a ripudiare la sua carriera artistica tanto da fare un grande rogo di tutti i suoi dischi. Recentemente Yusuf è tornato ad esibirsi in pubblico e ha registrato anche un nuovo album. Ho deciso di mettere due video. Quello originale in cui a Cat Stevens si addice forse meglio la parte del figlio e uno registrato live lo scorso aprile a Londra in cui è evidente che la parte di Yusuf non può essere che quella del padre. Se siete di matrice musicale "esterofila" godetevi il momento, godete finchè dura (citazione gucciniana) che tra un po' parte Sanremo e sarà per voi molto dura, eh eh eh.
