Oggi mi è arrivata una lettera da Carlo. E' datata 5 Ottobre. E' arrivata da Ventura, quando già il carcere lo aveva posto in isolamento. se c'è una cosa che mi colpisce è che nonostante tutto ciò che passa, e i momenti di tristezza, nelle lettere riesce comunque a trovare la forza di una battuta. Ogni tanto quando una cosa è praticolarmente triste o allegra, usa le faccine. Ha risposto alla lettera che gli ho spedito il 30 settembre. pensavo di vedermela recapitare indietro come quella di Katia, ma evidentemte i secondini hanno voluto fare loro un dispetto: l'inidrizzo era lo stesso, e la mia non è tornata indietro.Se c'è una cosa sulla quale Carlo punta è che si muova qualcosa partendo dalla rete. Non ha fiducia nei politici. Mi ha raccontato di come gli hanno fatto d'imporvviso la lastra e di come senza dirgli niente lo abbiano posto in isolamento. Dice che se avenal è brutto, Ventura è un inferno, che lo vogliono tenere in isolamento almeno fino al 25, per abbatterlo psicologicamente. Ha il sentore che qualcosa in Italia si stia muovendo. il dottore si è recato da lui rassicurandolo sul fatto che nessuno vuole torturarlo, come "credono da fuori", ma non immagina neanche la macchina che si è messa in moto.Pensa (erroneamente) che non ci sia movimento nella web americano. Non sa che se ora si trova in ospedale, invece che a Ventura probabilmente è perchè noi abbiamo fracassato i maroni a destra ed a manca. Nella cella vicino alla sua, in infermeria c'era un cartello che spiegava come il suo "vicino" dovesse rimanere in isolamento senza telefono, libri, visite, da febbraio scorso fino a novembre prossimo. Mi chiedo come sia possibile in un sedicente paese "esportatore di democrazia".La prima lettera che ho ricevuto da Carlo, il 25 settembre mi ha fatto piangere, perchè ne i film ne tutta la cultura che uno può farsi su un det mondo ti prepara o è meno comparabile alla verità di una situazione. Quest'ultima mi ha fatto arrabbiare perchè non accetto che delle istituzioni possano infragere la legge a loro piacimento sulla pelle di una persona. Una persona che sia a causa della distanza dalla sua famiglia che per "motivi da accertare" ha contatti limitati con l'esterno, e che un po' d'aria la può respirare solo tramite lettere e telefonate."scrivimi presto". Così conclude la lettera. "E dove"? ho pensato io se neanche il consolato gli fanno sentire. E mi è venuta ancora più rabbia.Viene tenuto in ospedale, in isolamento per sospetta tbc. dato che non è una malattia che viene di colpo e che già dalle lastre di due mesi fa si sarebbe dovuta vedere e dalle analisi che gli hanno fatto il 21 settembre ( gli sono arrivati i risultati mentre mi scriveva la prima lettera, ne ho per questo la certezza) non risulta niente, mi chedo che tipo "strano di tbc" sia e se nel frattempo abbia lui infettato mezzo mondo. Even hen all seems to getting worse He has the power to find something funny in every kind of situation. And He use a lot of smilies when He wrote, both happy and sad things. He reply to my letter of September 31st . I send my letter to the same address used by Katia. They reject her letter, in spite of her. They know her. They didn’t know me, and give my letter to Carlo.Carlo don’t trust anymore in politicians promises. He thinks that if someone can do something for him, this action have to start from the net. He told me about the ex-ray esam and his condition of forced isolation.He said Ventura is like hell, that They want keep him in isolation until the risentencing. He think that in Italy something is happening but He really don’t image what and how much. A doctor, as we know it, came to him and tell him they are not trying to torture him.He think (erroneously) that nobody ‘s changing in American web and institution, He don’t know that if is now hospitalized instead of being locked up in Ventura It’s maybe because we pestered every single person involved in his case. The first letter Carlo wrote me, make me cry. Nor a film, neither a book can describe the truth of an inmate condition. This one make me upset. I don’t accept that a national institution can breach its law in this way playing with the life of people.“Write me soon”. He wrote this at the end of the letter.“Where”? I thought sarcastically.They stop every embassy’s attempt of contact. With no reason. Suspected tbc they said. When he started to be infective, I would like to know if two month ago his exam was good and He hadn’t Tbc.I really would like to know. It can’t continue like this anymore
