BRUXELLES (Reuters) - I governi dell'Unione europea hanno approvato un programma di esami del Dna su prodotti a base di manzo per valutare le proporzioni dello scandalo provocato da etichette che non segnalavano la presenza in essi di carne di cavallo.
"Accolgo con favore la rapida approvazione da parte degli Stati membri del piano di cui ho parlato due giorni fa", ha detto in una nota il Commissario Ue per la Salute, Tonio Borg.
Gli esami verificheranno anche eventuali tracce di sostanze pericolose nella carne equina, dopo che sei cavalli macellati in Gran Bretagna sono risultati positivi al fenilbutazone, sostanza antinfiammatoria la cui presenza č illegale nella carne destinata al consumo umano. I primi risultati dovrebbero essere disponibili entro met aprile.

(ASCA) - Roma, 15 feb - Il Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze ha rivisto al ribasso il dato sull'avanzo del settore statale di dicembre 2012 a 13,2 miliardi di euro dai 14,1 miliardi della stima preliminare diffusa ad inizio gennaio. In particolare, spiega il Mef, il risultato deriva da entrate per 101.303 milioni di euro a fronte di spese per 88.095 milioni di euro di cui 5.510 per interessi.
