Johannesburg, 6 nov. - (Adnkronos/Dpa) - Il sudafricano David George, ex compagno di squadra di Lance Armstrong, e' stato trovato positivo all'Epo e sospeso provvisoriamente, come annunciato dalla federazione del suo paese. Il ciclista 36enne e' stato sottoposto ad un controllo antidoping fuori dalle competizioni il 29 agosto, dopo che il suo passaporto biologico aveva presentato parametri alterati. George e' stato compagno di squadra di Armstrong nell'Us Postal tra il 1999 ed il 2001. In questa stagione, il sudafricano ha firmato per la squadra di mountain-bike Nedbank 360 Life, il cui sponsor ora ha ritirato tutta la squadra dalle competizioni.
