Orlando City could join Major League Soccer as early as 2015

Signs are looking good for Orlando City to join Major League Soccer as an expansion Nike Mercurial 2012 team, just as the team kicks off an online petition drive for fans to prove they're ready for the big leagues.Sports Illustrated and Canada's TSN network both reported that MLS commissioner Don Garber said the league has already decided on three of its next four expansion franchises. A league source told the South Florida Nike Mercurial 2013 Sun Sentinel the three teams will be in Orlando, Atlanta and Miami.SI.com reported on Friday that "Orlando City, a USL Pro club that Nike Mercurial Glide III claimed its second championship in three years on Saturday before nearly 21,000 fans at the Citrus Bowl, appears destined for MLS. Assuming an October vote on using an existing tourism tax to fund the final quarter of the club's $80 million downtown stadium project goes well, MLS should be ready to announce Orlando's addition by the end of the year."
