Roma, 11 mag. (Adnkronos) - "Dimissioni? In tribuna al termine di Roma Napoli qualcuno mi invitava a mandare via Luis Enrique e io dissi piuttosto vado via io, e questo non e' successo perche' non lo abbiamo mandato via, ma abbiamo cercato di trattenerlo in tutte le maniere. Per quanto riguarda le mie dimissioni, paradossalmente non lo posso fare perche' sarebbe come premiarmi e questo momento non merito. Io non posso sottrarmi alle mie responsabilita', mi ero legato molto a lui e al progetto che non e' fallito. Volevamo proporre un certo tipo di calcio, provare a farlo con una persona che pensavamo fosse in grado di farlo, cosi' come lo era". Franco Baldini, direttore generale della Roma, in un'intervista a SkyTg24 difende il progetto intrapreso e non pensa alle dimissioni perche' sarebbe come sottrassi alle proprie responsabilita'.
"Ieri sono uscite le statistiche della Lega sulla qualita' del gioco e nei numeri, taccio su quelli difensivi che mi conviene, ma per quelle che parlano della proposta del gioco, la Roma e' prima nel possesso palla, e in tutte le altre classifiche che parlano della qualita' del gioco, dalla supremazia territoriale, ai passaggi riusciti, al numero dei tiri e' terza dietro Milan o Juve, questo parla della qualita' del gioco che era stata espressa. Il fallimento e' piu' percepito per l'andamento altalenante, ma il gioco che siamo stati in grado di proporre lo avremmo voluto fin dall'inizio", prosegue Baldini.
