Calamities are of two kinds: misfortunes to ourselves, and good fortune to others. Lack of money is no obstacle. Lack of an idea is an obstacle. The pain of making the necessary sacrifices always hurts more than you think it's going to. I know. It sucks. That being said, doing something seriously creative is one of the most amazing experiences one can have, in this or any other lifetime. If you can pull it off, it's worth it. Even if you don't end up pulling it off, you'll learn many incredible, magical, valuable things. It's NOT doing it when you know you full well you HAD the opportunity- that hurts FAR more than any failure. Never rely on the glory of the morning nor the smiles of your mother-in-law. My wish is to ride the tempest, tame the waves, kill the sharks. I will not resign myself... Everyone wants to be Cary Grant. Even I want to be Cary Grant. You need only claim the event of your life to make yourself yours. When you truly possess all you have been and done, which may take some time, you are fierce with reality.
