if korean fashion you exhaust yourself with trying to be “nice”

Your wedding might be “tacky” in one person's eyes, and “lavish” in another's. Your wedding dress won't be someone else's style, your sister might loathe the flowers. You wedding might be too simple, too complex, too wild, too plain…in someone else's eyes it could be anything. Don't get me wrong, it is good to be considerate of other people's wants/opinions/feelings. But being considerate is a different kettle of fish from being a people pleaser. And if you do try to please beautiful dresses everyone, then you run the risk of pleasing no one at all, including you and your (future) spouse. You might start thinking that the wedding belongs to everybody but yourselves, part of the fun of planning may be lost, and you could get very, very tired. source So you know what?

Really, truly, you are not going to please everyone, and you shouldn't try. These people will get over it if they don't completely love something at your wedding, but if korean fashion you exhaust yourself with trying to be “nice” and please every single person, then you might end up not truly pleasing anyone at all in the end. So accept your limits, get over the false guilt, take a breath and make some choices without the people-pleasing goblins hanging over your head. Trust me, you'll feel much better. Now I'm off to take a dose of my own medicine and tackle some of those choices! Have you become vulnerable to Prom Dresses the trap of people-pleasing while planning your wedding? Brow Wow wedding dresses Alright, considering I desperately need to do my eyebrows, I think it's time for another tutorial! My current eyebrow monstrosity is now your gain.

Ya welcome. Before I get started, let's chronicle my eyebrow trials and tribulations, via Paint: (click for full sized terror) Exhibit A: As a Party Favors child, I had monster brows, complete with teeth (creative license?). I now like to refer to them as “Bert and Ernie eyebrows” (really, more Bert, less Ernie), but unlike Bert and Ernie, they were neither fun nor friendly. They were big, they were scary, and yes, they were hairy. Not cute. source Exhibit B: From the age of 12 through 15 I suffered from a rare ailment that can only be called “InvisiBrow”.

The characteristics of invisibrow are as follows: pencil Wedding Invitation thin eyebrows resulting in limited facial expression with an acute similarity to one Whoopi Goldberg. As much as I love Ghost, this was not a good look for me. source Exhibit C: I call this look “The Sharpie Brow” because that is precisely what it looks like. They're sharp, they're black, they're drawn to hell and back. They're a no-no. Just say no. source As you can see, the brows and I have gone through a lot together.

You can use anything with a fine tip

You can use anything with a fine tip; the back of a skinny makeup brush works well, also. Okay then! Now that you have said tools, here we go! Rainbow's Super Easy Glam Lash Tutorial: Squeeze a bit of Wedding Dresses Duo Lash Glue onto the tray of the lashes. Looks weird, works great. Trust me. Let the glue sit for about 30 seconds, this allows it to dry a little and get tacky. If you try to use it immediately, you'll get nowhere. Here's the trick! Cut the lash strip in half.

It makes them so much easier to handle and apply. Just make sure you remember to put the longer end on the outer half of your eye, the Wedding Photography shorter end on the inner half. Bend the bobby pin and dip one end into the now tacky glue. Use it to apply a thin strip of glue to the band of the lash. Start with the longer half of the strip and place it on the outer half of your lash line, let dry, then repeat with the shorter half of the strip, applying it to the inner half of your lash line. Do the same thing to your Handbags other eye, and voila! Instant Glamour! before outer half applied full strip applied Left: bare and blah.

Right: luscious lashes The only thing I applied were lashes. No liner, no mascara. It makes a big difference, huh? Now shoo! Go get yourselves some lashes and some glue and give it a shot! I'd love to hear how it goes! What other makeup questions or tutorials would you like to see? wedding arches On People Pleasing & Your Wedding wedding dresses One lesson I have learned lately: You are not going to please everyone with your wedding choices.

I'm sorry to burst the bubble, but I have to get that out there. Your cousin might think your wedding ceremony is too traditional. Your grandmother might think it isn't traditional enough. You mother thinks it is past time for you to get married, while Crissy, your friend from grad Handbags school, is horrified you are getting married at all. The music won't be to everyone's taste, and at least one person will be allergic to a food, flower or a perfume. And don't get me started on opinions regarding the decor. Some will say you are cheap, some will say you aren't cheap enough. Some will think the guest count is too high, and some will wonder why you can't invite that nice neighbor who baked cookies for you when you were latest fashion five.

Our Rehearsal Preview and Wedding Day Update wedding dresses Here we are at our ceremony rehearsal, and we’re SO pumped to do it for real today! Here's a sneak peek of wedding checklists us with our officiant. My dress and accessories are out and ready, and our hair and makeup artists just arrived! ' Getting my hair and makeup done! P.S. have any of you other bloggers out there discovered mobile blogging? I'm just emailing these pictures to a Blogger address I set up ahead of time, and they get posted automatically.

It's great for blogging on the go! Flower Girl Dresses Easy as “P’eye” wedding dresses Since I've become a bee, I've gotten quite a few requests from the hive about doing some makeup tutorials, so of course, I will gladly oblige! When I do makeup, I never ever ever complete an application without false eyelashes. They add so much pop to the eyes. It's especially important when you're planning on being in front of the camera, which we all will be on our wedding day. Necklace Most of the time, natural lashes just disappear on camera, unless of course, you're rocking the “spider lashes”… source … just don't do it. That said, more often than not, when I'm applying lashes to someone,

I hear “I've tried so many times but I just canNOT put lashes on myself.” Well have no fear, ladies, cause I've got a little trick for you! Let's start from the beginning. Here are the tools that you'll need: 1. Duo Lash Glue. It's awesome, beautiful dresses inexpensive, and you can find it at your local Walgreen’s. I suggest the one in the blue packaging; it starts out white and dries clear.

There's also one in pink packaging, which dries black. If you're a lash newbie, this spells disaster—three words: Big. Black. Mess. 2. Cosmetic Scissors- doesn't matter what kind. 3. Lashes. Duh. Thank you, Captain Obvious. Use whatever brand/style works for you. From $30 Shu Uemuras, to $13 MACs, to $1 E.L.F.s. Clearly, you pay more for cocktail dresses quality (I.E. being assembled by hand vs. by a machine, real hair v.s. synthetic), but I've tried most brands, and I like and work with just about all of them. 4. Bobby Pin. I use it to put the glue on the lashes.

I always apply my makeup with clean fingers.

I always apply my makeup with clean fingers. The heat from your hands really smooths it out and makes it a bajillion times easier to blend into your skin. Now, buff it with a brush and say it with me: airbrush schmarebush. To achieve a flawless airbrushed finish, without the airbrush, use this: source A DuoFiber, or "skunk brush" as some people so lovingly call it. MAC sells one for $42, Sephora sells Men's Clothing one for $35, Sonia Kashuk sells one at Target for $13, and there's a brand at Target called Studio Tools that sells a skunk brush for wait for it $6. I can't vouch for Sephora or Sonia Kashuk, but I have one from MAC and two from Studio Tools, and they work exactly the same. Run, don't walk, to your nearest Target and snatch one up. Next, concealer. I don't use concealer. On anyone. Ever. Instead, I use Studio Fix unique wedding dresses Fluid straight from the bottle as opposed to turning it into my foundation cocktail. On it's own, Studio Fix is pigmented enough to be used at a concealer (which is why I blend it with other things, I don't like full coverage foundation), and that way you don't have to worry about matching colors or spending more money on another product. Just put a little bit on a sponge for under the eyes, or on a small brush for wedding plans blemishes, and tap (don't rub) it in, and there you have it! Foundation and concealer, one product, perfect match. To set your work of art, use this: source Make Up For Ever HD Powder. It's a total wonder product that give you a flawless finish without being "dry looking" like a lot of other powders. Bonus: it's invisible. I've used it with success on all different skin tones. It's made from 100% silica powder spheres and you can get it at wedding bubbles Sephora for $30 for a .35 ounce jar. Yes, $30 for approximately one third of an ounce. You know just as well as I do that that's ridiculous, and you know I'm not going to leave you hanging like that. As much as I love MUFE, you can get the exact same product (100% silica powder spheres) here. One whole ounce will cost you a whopping $4. (Left: smooth and even, yet natural. Right: Not so much.) Follow these steps to elegant dresses get a long-lasting flawless face. Seriously. It doesn't budge. Stick around for Ace You Face (pt 2) Contouring! Do you have any makeup tips, trick, or money saving secrets?

We've come up with tons of ridiculous ideas

We've come up with tons of ridiculous ideas (strawberry headdress and a watering can anyone?), but nothing that wedding outlet we would actually follow through with. I realize it's highly unusual to have grown up flower girls, and while I do want them to look a bit whimsical, I don't want it to come across as a huge joke. That being said, it's entirely possible wings will be making an appearance…

Source What's your favourite flower girl accessory? My Very wedding book Own Pretty Pretty Princesses! wedding dresses I knew who our flower girls were going to be long before our wedding. I realize that people generally expect flower girls to look like this: Source Source Source However, ours will actually be looking a bit different, at least in terms of size, anyway. I'm having grown up flower girls. 22 year old flower girls actually. Here they are: My baby sister (who is 22) always wanted to be a flower girl when she was an appropriate wedding dresses age to be a flower girl, but never got the chance.

Thus, when it became apparent that the Mr. and I planned to eventually get married my sister and I decided that she would finally get the chance to be an FG. We also decided it would be even more fun if my sister's friend, who is basically like a 2nd baby sister to me became her assistant flower girl. They're both a bit zany and lots of fun, so Shoes we're going to have a good time dressing them. We're currently aiming for a hint of magical woodland creatures. This picture below is actually a pretty good representation of their personalities, so you can see I'm expecting them to be quite exciting flower girls.
