FRANCE: Nicolas Sarkozy's father confirms pregnancy by Carla Bruni

Nicolas Sarkozy's father, Pal Sarkozy, confirmed the pregnancy of the wife of French President, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, the German daily Bild published on Tuesday.

"I welcome the arrival of my little son," he told the newspaper most widely read in Europe.Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife "do not know the sex of the child in advance, but I'm sure it will be a girl and she is as beautiful as Carla," he said.
