Lo ha detto il presidente della Lega di Serie A Maurizio Beretta, intervenendo alla presentazione degli arbitri a Coverciano. ''E' un campionato - ha detto - che avra' alcune particolarita' come cinque derby. Stiamo dimostrando nei fatti e con le cifre che tutti coloro che cercano di mettere in antinomia gli stadi con la televisione sbagliano, pur con una condizione degli impianti molto lontana dall'essere soddisfacente. Gli abbonamenti sono in crescita, 9 milioni di spettatori seguono le partite sulle pay tv a ogni turno, quest'anno la Serie A supera il miliardo di euro di diritti televisivi. Il nostro calcio di Serie A e' un fenomeno abbastanza peculiare e raro con una capacita' di impatto straordinaria. Abbiamo davanti molti problemi e sfide ma il nostro campionato di Serie A e' uno dei piu' interessanti in ambito internazionale''. Beretta ha anche annunciato l'avvio della trattativa per il rinnovo dell'accordo collettivo dei calciatori.
