Roma, 16 giu. (Adnkronos) - Lunedi' prossimo all'Isola Tiberina, nella Capitale, anteprima del film 'Buzkashi Boys' all'Isola del Cinema, in vista dell'apertura ufficiale che si terra' il 26 giugno. Appuntamento nella Sala Cinelab Groupama alle 19. Si tratta di una serata dedicata al Cinema Internazionale indipendente, dove ad accogliere il pubblico sara' il regista americano Sam French, che introdurra' la sua pellicola.
Il film, ambientato in Afghanistan e proiettato in anteprima nazionale, e' un documentario realistico e crudo sulla vita di due ragazzini che crescono nelle vie di Kabul. Lo sport nazionale e' il buzkashi, letteralmente ''acchiappa la capra'' che consiste in una gara a cavallo per impadronirsi della carcassa di una capra. Il regista descrive il macabro gioco dal punto di vista dei suoi due piccoli eroi: la rappresentazione evita la retorica ed il compiacimento, per descrivere con sguardo crudo e partecipe un versante inedito di un paese dilaniato da lotte intestine.
Oltre al regista, presenzieranno all'evento i rappresentanti di entrambe le Ambasciate: l'Ambasciatore della Repubblica Islamica dell'Afghanistan, Musa M. Maroofi e il Vice Capo Missione, Fatima Zaher, insieme al Portavoce dell'Ambasciata degli Stati Uniti in Italia, Stephen Anderson. Moderano l'incontro i giornalisti Giammaria Duilio del Tg1 e Giampaolo Catalano de La Repubblica.
Firenze, 16 giu. - (Adnkronos) - I Nuovi Uffizi saranno pronti entro il 2016. Per completare i cantieri che portera' alla nascita della 'grande' galleria fiorentina serviranno ancora quattro anni di lavori. Una volta terminato l'intervento, la superfice espositiva risultera' raddoppiata rispetto alla secolare storia degli Uffizi: si passera' da 6.100 a 12.680 metri quadri. Lo ha annunciato oggi Alessandra Marino, responsabile unica del procedimento dei Nuovi Uffizi, nel corso di una conferenza stampa a Firenze per presentare le nuove nove sale colore rosso cremisi mediceo destinate ai capolavori italiani del Cinquecento.
Entro gennaio-febbraio saranno consegnate altre 13 sale, ambienti attualmente in fase di restauro, per complessivi 1.290 metri quadri. A quel punto il totale della nuova area espositiva assommera' a 3.145 metri quadri, il 46% del totale dell'ampliamento museale.
Per completare i lavori entro il 2016 servira' un finanziamento aggiuntivo di circa 30 milioni di euro, somma che ancora non e' stata stanziata dal ministero dei Beni culturali. Oltre a realizzare ancora il 54% della nuova area espositiva, il cantiere entro il 2016 prevede la realizzazione di nuove sale per l'esposizione degli arazzi, della statuaria, di un'area per le mostre e soprattutto per i tanti servizi che faranno degli Uffizi un nuovo museo qualificato a livello internazionale: sono previsti infatti nuove biglietterie, un ristorante e un book shop. In parte sono stati gia' realizzati i nuovi impianti tecnologici e i depositi.
San Bernardo do Campo, 16 giu. - (Adnkronos) - L'Italia e' stata sconfitta dagli Stati Uniti per 3-0 (27-25, 25-20, 25-17) a San Bernardo do Campo, in Brasile, nel match che ha aperto il secondo weekend del World Grand Prix femminile di pallavolo. Il sestetto guidato dal ct Marco Bracci ha giocato un buonissimo primo set prima di cedere nettamente alle imbattute nordamericane.
Nel primo parziale si e' vista la migliore Italia, capace di creare piu' di una difficolta' alla squadra statunitense. Francesca Piccinini (ha chiuso il suo match con 15 punti all'attivo) e compagne sono arrivate a condurre 18-15 prima di subire la rimonta. Gli Usa hanno raggiunto la parita' sul 22-22 e chiuso ai vantaggi il punto finale siglato dalla veterana Tayyiba Haneef-Park. Nel secondo e nel terzo set la squadra di Hugh McCutcheon ha avuto vita piu' facile.
