Gli U2 hanno registrato "Window In The Skies" negli Abbey Road Studios di Londra e, sempre negli stessi Studios, hanno registrato anche "The Saints are coming", una nuova versione di un brano del gruppo punk scozzese degli Skids, realizzata per aiutare Music Rising, fondazione creata da The Edge, per finanziare una raccolta di fondi a beneficio dei musicisti di New Orleans, colpita dall'uragano Latrina. L’uno e l’altro sono stati inclusi nel “The Best”, una raccolta che contiene anche altri 16 eccezionali brani e attraverso i quali è possibile seguire il percorso artistico degli U2 dal 1980 al 2004.Della raccolta fa anche parte il bellissimo video che vi propongo e che è stato realizzato assemblando tutta una serie di clip nelle quali alcune fra le più memorabili leggende del rock ci danno l’impressione di partecipare con le loro movenze alla spettacolare esecuzione degli U2.
