Maltempo: Coldiretti, - 30% raccolti al nord, e' stato calamita'

Roma, 18 mag. - (Adnkronos) - Stamattina il fiume Po ha raggiunto la piena a Piacenza dove e' uscito dagli argini ed ha invaso le aree golenali causando ll'allagamento di numerosi campi coltivati. E' quanto emerge da un monitoraggio della Coldiretti che segnala come l'acqua abbia invaso le campagne con i terreni coltivati a grano che rischia di morire per soffocamento, mentre marcisce il fieno per l'alimentazione degli animali e non e' possibile piantare il pomodoro. La situazione - sottolinea la Coldiretti - e' difficile in tutte le aziende dell'areale dove a causa della piena del Po i campi non riescono ad assorbire l'acqua in eccesso. Coldiretti segnala come il bilancio dell'ondata di maltempo sia almeno il 30 per cento di raccolti in meno per le principali produzioni del nord Italia e chiede di avviare le procedure per la dichiarazione dello stato di calamita' naturale per territori piu' colpiti. Dal Piemonte alla Lombardia, dall'Emilia Romagna al Veneto, le campagne sono sott'acqua - sottolinea la Coldiretti - con decine di migliaia di ettari di terreno allagati perche' non riescono piu' ad assorbire le precipitazioni cadute in misura straordinaria come dimostra la piena del po che e' significativa della situazione idrogeologica complessiva con tracimazioni e allagamenti dffusi. Non c'e' raccolto che non sia compromesso, dal pomodoro al riso, dalle patate alla frutta, dalla soia al mais fino al fieno che rimane a marcire nei campi con gravi problemi per l'alimentazione degli animali.
