BEIRUT (Reuters) - Almeno 40 persone sono morte e 170 sono rimaste ferite in due esplosioni "terroristiche" in un quartiere meridionale di Damasco, capitale della Siria, che ospita un complesso dei servizi segreti coinvolti nella repressione attuata dal presidente Bashar al Assad in 14 mesi di proteste pro-democrazia.
Lo riferisce la tv di Stato, mostrando decine di veicoli bruciati, alcuni contenenti resti umani. E' visibile anche un grosso cratere sulla strada. Secondo la tv, la maggior parte delle vittime sono civili.
I residenti di Damasco hanno riferito che le due esplosioni sono avvenute intorno alle 8 ora locale (le 7 ora italiana).

Venturi punta l'indice sul tema del fisco. ''La pressione fiscale viaggia ormai sopra il 45% - afferma Venturi - con questo peso non ci sara' nessuna ripresa degli investimenti. L'Imu e la mannaia dell'Iva sono un vero e proprio percorso di guerra lungo il quale rischiano di cadere molte imprese con grave danno per il Paese''.
