OP goes to Best Buy to pick up a 9v battery. He surveys the store. 3 salespeople are not helping customers. One of these people has the information he needs. Now all he has to do is obtain it. He ponders for a moment, carefully hashing out his scheme internally before he takes action. The first step is misdirection. A salesman who knows your intentions has the upper hand. But OP isn new to this. He been here before, many times. He turns and walks toward the newest ipads. Step two is to force the salesperson action. OP locates the nearest employee and, looking back down at the tablet display in front of him, loudly clears his throat. In his peripheral vision he sees that his plan is coming together exactly as expected. The salesman speaks first. His demeanor is welcoming, straightforward, but his true motives are veiled thinly.
