It has riped its own surface from a fat cluster of land into several independent bodies.it's seen earth quakes, solar flares, killer meteors, typhoons, gravitational changes, and on and on and on.Despite surviving billions of years through all the trial and tribulations of its birth and its development, only NOW it is in danger? because of us tiny insignificant pieces of amino acid compounds called humans?My goodness we humans are egotistical creatures aren't we.The planet can not be destroyed by us humans, not yet in any case. Can we destroy our environment? sure, but we could NEVER destroy out planet, it is currently physically impossible to do.And who says the planet needs saving? from what? It gets to hot? Earth was much hotter and wetter 65 million years ago and life existed.afraid we will start a another ice age? the world has been a lot colder and life survived.so please explain to me how the planet needs to be saved.The only thing that needs saving is us from our egos.BTW I can show you dramatic evidence of sudden climate change in our human history. Also recycle paper, bottles and cans, and cardboard. At some grocery stores, you can buy bags that you can reuse, and they only cost like 1.00 each. Reusing those instead of taking paper bags really saves energy. Use less electricity by turning off the lights when nobody is in the room. If you watched LIVE EARTH they told you what you should do.
